The four members of Soultwater met in Sydney when they started going to the same university as each other. With similar interests and tastes in music they all started playing together to create music they all love. Soultwater have been working hard to get their stuff out to people with a self produced ep and a song featuring on Australian Slam Skateboarding magazine video “supra promo vid”. Soultwater have been gigging all over Sydney, Newcastle and the North Coast of NSW.

Soultwater are influenced by the Beautiful Girls, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Ben Harper, Arcade Fire, Cold War Kids, Angus and Julia Stone and many others, their main influences are their lives. Their music is based around the culture of the beach, surfing, the aussie bush and everything that consists in the ways of life, mother nature and the soul of growing up on the coast.

Having only been together for just under a year Soultwater have achieved a lot. They are unknown musicians in the industry, yet they are still rising as a band that you have to listen to this year. With thousands of views of their songs on myspace and very little exposure Soultwater has wowed audiences at many gigs.

We all hope that they will be playing a lot more in the next few years including tours and festivals. Seeing Soultwater live is a must for any fan of aussie music.
